In Minecraft 1.19, the totem of undying has become very easy to get. Raid farms can get a player double chests of totems in unbelievably short time. Simply grinding raids can get totems very quickly as well. Because players can have so many totems, if they pop one they can just immediately put one back in their offhand. It makes players nearly invincible in combat and in singleplayer. Players can essentially survive as long as their armor survives, which drags fights out and removes a lot of suspense. I believe that if a cooldown was added of between 20 and 100 ticks where an item could not be put in an offhand after a totem of undying has been popped, it would add a lot more suspense to the game, and make it where popping a totem is really a near-death experience rather than something players can shrug off. This would add more fun to the game and make the game more eventful and less drawn out in pvp fights.
