Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New Furnace type: Kiln

Since recent updates, Minecraft has shown us different furnaces with unique uses. While we have the smoker, which cooks the meat quickly, and blast furnaces which smelt ores rapidly, we have no furnace type for smelting building materials (i.e., bricks, glass, stone, smooth stone, terracotta). I began to ponder how Minecraft could evolve to add this quality-of-life update. My answer was the kiln, a furnace much like the smoker, and the blast furnace, except specializing in smelting things for building materials.
