Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Mushroom Wood

A new wood type crafted from the stem blocks of giant mushrooms. This new mushroom wood would be white and obtainable from both red and brown giant mushrooms. In addition to providing a new color wood, it would also make mushroom islands a more survival friendly biome by providing a source of wood.

    Mushrooms seem like the way to go in gaining some odder "wood" colors, White, Black, Green, Purple, could all be added into new biomes of all three dimensions. With Nether fungi sharing the fire proof nature, and End fungus better explosive resistance (compared to other woods) and anti-Enderman griefing.

    wonderful idea! Id love to see two different varieties of spore-wood though, white and a brown/orange tan.

    Yes, mushrooms could give us more (intentionally) slimy and unappealing blocks which could look cool in mystical builds!
