    I think the biggest challenge for golems is giving them a purpose/mechanic/niche that makes them useful for general players versus their composition. Now that being said I love the "cool down"/maintenance mechanics of the Tuff and Copper golems that honestly could be the bases to balance golems used in auto-farming situations. While the designs of the Tuff and Copper were awesome, they didn't have a lot of utility for most players, other than random tick generators, which a chicken/sheet/etc and a pressure plate can do rather easily.
