Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

other types of block placement

Я хотел бы чтобы в игре появилась возможность ставить такие типы блоков как плиты, ступени, ограды и заборы в других пространственных положениях:
плиты и ступени можно было бы размещать вертикально, а ограды и заборы - горизонтально. Данная особенность открыла бы возможности для самых крутых построек в игре.

я надеюсь, что кто-нибудь из разработчиков это увидит и действительно задумается над этим
предложением.

    You may be surprised to find out, that Mojang's official position on the matter is, that allowing slabs to be placed vertically would "restrict player creativity". No it doesn't make any sense on its face, but that's what it says in the previously considered suggestions, so it seems fairly safe to assume, that other ways of getting unconventional with the block placement options are similarly off the table. 

    I'd love to be proven wrong though, since I can imagine quite a lot of things, that would either look a lot better or become possible at all with the features in this suggestion.
