I’ve had a single-player world that has been completely changed ever since the latest update v1.19.40 and has brought some frustration as I primarily took advantage of a feature that has now been removed.
The Shattered Savanna biome was removed to bring bedrock and java closer to parity. And with it, the grass color variation was taken away and now uses the desert grass texture.
Now my build has gone from a beautiful green to a dry-dying look which completely ruins the theme. Bedrock players on console and mobile devices have no way to modify the look of their worlds and the change seems completely unfair to those who have no control and a world that they’ve invested a considerable amount of time into.
I think that it would be great if, instead of removing the biomes with unique grass textures, Mojang brought them back to preserve the older builds that players have and even bring exclusive biomes to Java for everyone to be happy!
