Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Liquid block: Acid

Found deep within jungles or swamps, acid flows almost as quick as water, but enacts the poison effect on contact. The liquid is a green opaque, and bubbles occasionally, in particles like those that pop up while fishing. Perhaps whenever a horse touches the liquid, it soon turns into a zombie horse, same with piglin/hoglin into zombified-piglin/zoglin. When collected in a bottle, it is a low-level poison potion with 10s time? Could be interesting... The actual liquid block should be collected in a bucket, and would add something cool to builds, traps, and pvp. There could be a new enchantment for armor, introduced as toxic resistance. Some protection to harming, poison, and limited defense to decay? This could be really cool, and would be even better hidden in a new dimension. Perhaps that's a different post.     This could be interesting, but it is very similar to lava. Being poisoned is similar to being on fire.

    Good point...perhaps a good difference is that fire damage can kill, while poison stops at 2 health points. Thanks for the input, it is something to consider.
