Chinese Paper Lanterns (1.20)

To fit with the theme of diversity and storytelling, why not add traditional Chinese lanterns to add a different and festive flavour to lighting. The basic crafting recipe would be a torch surround by 7 paper and 1 type of dye. The dye would determine what colour and shape the lantern takes. E.g. a red lantern would be round whilst a blue one might be more rectangular. Paper lanterns could be hanged from the bottom of blocks but not from the side. In addition when placed on the ground the lantern could float a certain number of blocks into the air, spinning around slowly. The player could also stand on the lantern, making for interesting parkour. In conclusion, having Chinese Paper Lanterns would give lot of opportunity for builds, parkour and storytelling.

    In my opinion, minecraft can be cooler and more interesting than it is, for example, minecraft doesn't have seasons, and if it has a game space that revolves around nature, it will be more attractive. There is no flood, there is no storm, the next thing is that End needs to be updated to stop staying in End, the cherry blossom trees that you have seen are shedding small leaves from their leaves. Why does this not happen to other trees? After that, the forest also needs a lot of mobs and structures, such as monkeys and gorillas, the forest village and the banana plant, the coastal beaches also need to be updated because they don't have creatures like crabs, and the sea also needs a lot of sharks in my opinion.

    It will be interesting if crocodiles are added because I think the swamp needs this mob and it can make the swamp more attractive and dangerous and for example drop an item like crocodile leather so we can have new armor or drop their teeth to For example, we can make new arrows or newer

    In my opinion, this update needs copper golem, because in my opinion, since the mouse will be updated in this update, if this mob is added to it, the game environment will be more attractive.

    o bioma da Jungle do minecraft tem muito potencial para receber novos recursos poderíamos ter macaco adicionados a o jogo e uma nova variação de vegetação na Jungle que seria as árvores de banana, e finalmente ter uma fruta nova depois de muito tempo no jogo a banana e com um tempo que a árvore poderia crescer nasceriam novos cachos de banana... E os macaco poderiam se alimentar delas igul ao panda quando come bambu

    This is such an interesting idea but it has the potential to reach outside of Chinese lanterns, like Korean or Japanese lanterns as well as other cultures that include lanterns for festival purposes. The dyes within the game can assist with making a pattern similar to how flag designs are made but it’s with the paper lanterns. But to find the patterns you’d probably have to either trade with a villager or find it in a chest in different biomes. For example, the cherry tree biome could have a flower pattern whereas the bamboo biome could compose a bamboo leaf pattern. But to add characteristics that some of the lanterns have, you could have four or more options by adding squid ink or yellow dye.
