It is an abandoned mineshaft, so it shouldn't necessarily still be uncovered. Without maintenance, it would likely get buried and not be close to the surface, as it currently is.

I think this is a great idea. Maybe also you could have a super rare (0.0128%) of a potion or ingredient spawning in a village brewing stand.

The problem is, caimans, like their cousins the crocodile, have a very similar reputation to sharks, so they are almost a lost cause for getting added.

Maybe you could place a wall of wool that would partially absorb the sonic boom. Would reduce damage by 34% per layer of wool, so it would need to be at least 3 blocks thick to negate all damage.
