I think slime boots would actually be made by combining leather boots with slime balls. You would walk slowly, but bounce whenever you jumped.

Some mods already have this, except it is called Uppercut. Since Mojang doesn't want to add more stuff from mods, this is likely not going to make in.

The one problem I have is the aforementioned spike attack. This is not something that wooden golems can do; only an Ent would be capable. There is a difference between a wooden golem and an Ent.
