It would be great to place an item like in an item frame and also have text on it

One of the annoying things about hanging signs is that the character limit per line is much smaller. I say the text should be smaller or the sign should be bigger.

As long as we're adding hanging signs, I suggest we find a way to add pictures to signs. If anything, it can be done on the Xbox One version with Emojis.

The signs should swing if an entity collides with them or hit it like the bell does.

swinging was already suggested but maybe they could trigger redstone when hit.

I would love to walk against a hanging sign and being able to hit my head and have it swing back and forth saloon door style and maybe make it damage the player like half a heart.

Really nice concept and i like how you can use it almost like thin stairs. But there should be an option for the writing to be on both sides upon creating

Please, add hanging signs to village generation. We now have villager shops so hanging signs could be attached to those builds.

I think there should be 2 types of hanging signs. One that the text shows on both sides, and one that the text is only on 1 side.

Hard to craft but worth it.

This is great if you`re making medieval things or shops, but I agree, it should display on both sides of the sign, swinging, attaching to fences and walls, and also displaying items and/or maps.

Most of the features new to hanging signs are amazing, as are the new features that apply to all signs (IE double-sided text and such). However, I was annoyed to find that even though you can place signs below posts, you can't place them on a fence post/wall pillar's side, rendering it impossible to make compact, realistic-looking sign posts. I hope to see this added in the future.

It Would be incredible if we could use hanging signs as item frames aswell. This Could be good for a book shop as then maybe you could right click the hanging sign with a book and it would display it on the sign.

Those would be some great additions to Minecraft’s Trails & Tales! Here are some of my suggestions.

You plan to add features to the original signs in the Trails & Tales edition. I think we should be to do those same things with the hanging signs.

Currently, when you add the word “hoe(s)” to a sign, it doesn’t show the word; instead, pound signs (#). However, this does not happen when you say “garden hoe(s)” instead. But you run out of space. If possible, could we fix this?

Also, when writing a sign, you must go to the following line to save your work. So, for example, if I write “Garden Hoes and Shovels” on line one, I must proceed to line two to keep my work before exiting. Perhaps, we’ll be able to fix this? Thank you!

This isn’t a hanging sign, it’s a completely frozen immovable static object. All that time spent on a useless mob and don’t even make hanging signs away at all.

Hanging signs should really be able to be placed on the sides of fences and walls, having the fence or wall's extension texture displayed (much like when a fence or wall is connected to a block) to connect it to the sign. Minecraft lacks narrow, streamlined, and efficient ways of displaying information, and this would help.

I wish hanging signs had the same amount of space as normal signs. I was making a train station build, but because of the smaller character limits, i couldn't type "Now Entering" on the same line. I had to use a normal sign with a barrier behind it like before. Kinda dissappointing.
