Archeology is a feature that many people want but, from what I've heard, is currently not planned on being introduced into the game any time soon. I, and many other people, would love that to change, so I propose an arhcy system that sounds appealing to me. Decorative pots would be a very cool addition into the game, along with ancient artifacts that are used for different purposes. Let's start with the pots. Archy sites can be found in any biome, but different biomes have different pot designs (designs can be interpreted). Along with this, unique archy-dedicated decoration blocks could be discovered that are not found anywhere else In each archy site, there are three ancient artifacts that can be discovered. These artifacts can assist in combat, building, or general use, but the artifact belt is needed to hold these. This can be crafted by three pockets make from rabbit hide. However, some artifacts that are high in power come with a drawback. For example, an artifact that doubles damage halves defense, or one that gives speed decreases jump height. These would add a very unique mechanic to the combat system that could make every fight unique.
