Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Bamboo Carpet/Rug

I thought since the new bamboo blocks are being added soon that were announced during Minecraft live that there should be a bamboo carpet or rug that you can craft. It would work just like a regular wool or moss carpet but it would be made of bamboo.

    It would be a "bamboo mat".

    Yes!!! But to balance, you would have to craft with crafting table and 3 bamboo across would get you 1 mat carpet. Functionally it would work identical to carpets including silencing footsteps in the deep dark.
