New Overworld Ambience
Minecraft is a lonely game, that much is common knowledge, but *why* it's lonely stems from a handful of different things. One of these is the ambience, specifically the Overworld ambience. It's too quiet. Not just quiet, but completely silent. The Nether and its biomes all produce unique and otherworldly sounds that make it very memorable and The End sounds are made up of deep rumbles and creepy ominous tones that mimic the vast empty space around you. The Overworld though, nothing. No birds chirping, no wind blowing, no anything. It's just you and your footsteps, and whatever few living things are around you. It's off-putting, and out of place. Why would the one place where most life can be found sound the most dead? We desperately need an Update or Patch that does the same thing as the Nether and End for each of the Overworld biomes. Day and night ambience, different sounds depending on biome, above ground and cave ambience. Just something to break up the silence and make the world feel more alive, or at least less deafeningly quiet.
