The birch forests are quite boring and they look like oak forests, I recently went for a walk in the north of Canada and I was amazed by the colors of the autumn and the mixture of these with the white of the birch bark, so what do you think of adding patches of maple in these forests ? (it would be a rarer tree than the others, just in small patches or forming small clearings...sometimes alone but old, big and majestic) there could be variations of leaves, green, yellow, orange and red and a new unique wood set.
There could be a very fairy athomsphere, very bucolic, very sylvan with funny mushrooms, moss and small particles floating in the air.
It could be magical, home to sylves or simply classic but elegant...
And the seeds could fly of course !! (as they do in real life)
We could also recuperate their sap with the help of taps to be made on their trunk and make it evaporate to make syrup...and use it as bait for brown bears? (honey, fish or berries could also work)
note that beautiful rivers, waterfalls and salmon would be very nice too...but that's another story...
It would be enchanting and it would add a real variation to these forests, what do you think? what are your ideas?
