Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New Hanging Signs - 1.20 - Interaction with maps as map markers

Given that 1.20 will introduce new hanging signs and given that banners can be used as map markers on Java edition, then maybe it could be a cool idea to allow hanging signs to be used as map markers too. Given that bedrock edition still lacks map markers then this could be a good way to introduce that feature to bedrock edition and also that keeps both versions slightly more unique or it could be a feature of both editions. 

It would really fit the theme of creativity and storytelling too.
