Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Obisidian Anvil/ Forge (for the crafting of netherite items)

This item crafted by the player will be used for the crafting of netherite Items, as the only way to craft them.

It would be crafted by combining

  • 3 obsidian blocks across the top
  • 1 netherite scrap (or Ingot) in the center
  • 2 obsidian on the bottom corners and 1 crying obsidian in the middle bottom

Or alternative crafting method.

  • Obsidian in the 4 courners and top middle going down - crafting table, netherite scrap (or ingot) and crying obsidian

This anvil when interacted with will display a crafting window similar to that of a crafting table which will allow it to craft all netherite items, and double as a crafting table.

Possible appearance would be similar to an anvil but slightly bigger, with an obsidian texture and glowing purple veins / cracks running from the bottom up, the middle will be a texture similar to the netherite ingots and wraped around the midsection and a deep purple crafting grid will be located on the top center of the anvil.

It will not have durability as it is an obsidian anvil (or forge) sturdy and able to take on the forging of netherite equipment.

    The smithing table's only use is to craft netherite items. If this was added, the smithing table would once again be useless.
