I am thrilled to see the announcement of the new bookshelves which allow you to mountup to six of your own books, book & quills, or enchanted books. However, I feel like it would be very easy to lose a specific book on the shelf if the only indication of which book is where is the block texture changing.
I don't know exactly how this would look, but I think there should be a way to see the titles of books when they're shelved. Perhaps this could work with some sort of text that would pop up when your mouse hovers over the specific book. (eg. you look at the top right book and text appears above your hotbar that reads "History of the Creeper" or whatever the name of the book is. You look at the top middle book and the text changes to "History of the Skeleton".)
This change would make it so builds such as libraries are much easier to navigate and organize, as it wouldn't require previous knowledge of where a specific book is to find it. It also would help locate a missing or misplaced book when several bookshelves are present instead of being forced to unmount all 6 books to check if any of them are the one that is missing.
