Leopards (Pardus in Latin) are cute and beautiful animals. These beautiful animals are close to extinction. The population of Snow leopards is lower than 6,500.
The Minecraft developers added animals like the axolotl and panda to Minecraft. Both of them are close to extinction. That's why adding a Snow Leopard or even other types of Leopards, like The Amur Leopard, to the game is a good idea.
Description of the mob:
Snow Leopards live in high alpine areas. They would be a great addition to the new mountains we got in 1.18! Other species of leopards live in savannas, grasslands, and more. They live in so many different places that we could get a few variants of Leopards in Minecraft.
Snow Leopards eat blue sheep, Argali wild sheep, ibex, marmots, pikas, deer, and other small mammals. Different species of leopards eat animals like deer and fish, etc. Some of the animals on that list are already in Minecraft.
These beautiful animals are also not aggressive toward humans, so I think they shouldn't attack players in Minecraft.
Leopards are cats of the night which means they hunt for prey during the night. That also means that if the snow leopard makes it to the game, it would be most active at night (just like the fox).
Conclusion:
Snow leopards are beautiful and cute animals that are close to extinction. Adding them to Minecraft would be a great idea because they would add life to the mountains. In my opinion, they would be a great addition.
