Raft Expansion

In minecraft live 2022 it was announced that there would be a new wood type in minecraft and that its boat variant would be a raft. My idea is that you could in someway combine rafts to make larger rafts and maybe put furnaces or crafting tables on them to have a fully mobile base which would be great for exploring or just living in.
