Minecraft lacks in the variation side of things when it comes to role-play, for example, every player tries their hardest to get netherite as fast as possible, but what if there were more armor sets that gave different buffs, just to make the game a bit more interesting when playing with friends. i guess you could consider this a class system. but use that term loosely as there isn't really enough in the game to support different classes. ( an example would be, say netherite, as its the best armor in the game, make a variant for it that has less armor, but provides a speed buff, or a buff that does more damage with bows etc. it would make things a little more interesting) - that point goes for all armors.
