Place a cauldron over a lit or non-lit campfire,
Once lit and the cauldron is filled with water, the cauldron will begin to bubble after about 5-10 seconds, allowing players to add their own ingredients, creating soup,
Soup can be extracted using bowls instead of bottles or buckets, (bucket of soup may be something fun...),
Different ingredients will affect the heartiness value of the soup depending on the amount of hunger each ingredient provides individually, raw ingredients would get cooked during this process,
Brewing potions out of the cauldron could also be possible by adding a nether wart first, after the nether wart has been added, food can no longer be added, and the cauldron can only be emptied with bottles, vice versa if food is added first,
Lingering potions and splashing potions are not craftable via cauldrons
Liquid Changes
FOOD: The more food added, the browner the water will become, and bits of the food added will float around the cauldron,
POTIONS: Ingredients for potions will change the liquid color corresponding to how it would change potion color, nether wart, redstone, and glowstone dust will add a special effect such as woozy particles or skull particles etc.
Seasonings
Salt, spices, or garnishments can be added into the game as a way to slightly boost the amount of hunger each serving (3 per cauldron) of soup gives as a way to increase the value and incentive of using the soup cauldron,
Potions may also be added into the soup for their effects as a seasoning.
