Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Amethyst Chimes & Vex-Allay Conversion~

Imagine a world where players hang Amethyst Chimes above a Village's every door, where they have to choose between ringing the Village Bell to reveal nearby raiders or leaving it un-rung and keeping the Vexes pacified.

 

• Amethyst Chimes •
• Crafted with an Iron Ingot, String, and an Amethyst Shard
• Can be hung from Chains
• Plays a variety of ambient chimes depending on altitude
• Used to ease nearby Vexes

• Bell •
• Used to irritate nearby Allay

• Vex & Allay •
• Will assume the other's palette when eased or irritated
• Eased Vexes and irritated Allay are neutral mobs
• When eased for 20 minutes, Vexes will become Allay and vise-versa. This can be accelerated using Amethyst Shards and Tinted Shards respectively

• Tinted Shard •
• Using an Amethyst Shard and a cursed item in a Grindstone will remove the curse from the item and transform the Amethyst Shard into a Tinted Shard

    Vexes clearly seem to be corrupted allays, and it would be cool to have allays change into vexes, but not like this. It seems to be implied that illagers turn allays into vexes, because you can find allays in illager prisons, and vexes serve the illagers. I don't like the idea of vexes and allays swapping like that. Maybe make evokers turn allays into vexes if they get near. There could also be a way to turn them back manually, like how you can cure a zombie villager with a golden apple. I also think they should redesign vexes so that they match allay proportions more.
