Echo Orb - Respawning for Hardcore players!

As someone who exclusively plays in hardcore mode, I was, of course, a little disappointed that the newly introduced echo shards had nothing to offer me in terms of gameplay value. That can be fixed with the introduction of an object like the Echo Orb!

The Echo Orb would be a crystal ball crafted with copper ingots, amethyst shards, and an echo shard (or object crafted with many echo shards) in the center. Place it down and right click to ponder the orb and receive the ominous message "[PlayerName] foresaw a vision of their demise...". This would create a sort of save point where, the next time you take lethal damage, you would be instantly teleported back to where you were when you pondered the Orb - you'll receive a message like "...but that would never happen, right?" The echo orb would be cracked upon this respawn and you would have to craft a new one to use it again.

It would be different to the Totem of Undying because respawning to an Echo Orb would respawn you with the exact inventory and world data that you had when you pondered it - so it's more like making a backup of your world. Of course you wouldn't have any loot you gained after you pondered the orb, so most players are probably better off going with a totem or just a plain old bed!

If echo shards offer something exclusively for Survival players, I think they should offer something exclusively for Hardcore players, too!

    This is cool, and I like it but I also feel like it takes away from Hardcore significantly. Especially with how easy it is to get those items, you could craft a bunch of these and just constantly use them to prevent your Hardcore world from ending.

    I know the drawback is you get set back in time. But that also has issues because it now has to save the world twice. Once on the backup copy and once on the current copy. Then when you "die" it has to reupload the backup onto the current. For big worlds that would be super excessive.

    But I do agree the Echo Shard needs some more uses for Hardcore players.
