Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Raft

Craft a raft with 4 logs, 3 blocks of wool for a sail, 2 leads, and a shovel with a crafting table, you can stand on it and row on it, only one player needs to be rowed by using a raft. 

 

 

Since we already have a boat in Minecraft, the boat allows us to carry a chest and 2 players in here. When you using the raft, only one player needs be using a raft (not 2 players),  if you have 2 players standing on a raft at the same time, it wont afloat very well, It will sink, same thing for placing a chest on the raft.

    If it takes more blocks to build, can carry less players and no chest, than what is the point of this raft? please elaborate further.

    Due to the bamboo raft having been announced at Minecraft Live, this probably won't happen. I wish they had done this instead though, instead of making it a boat skin.

    I think that having it sink with a 2nd player or a chest doesn't make sense. It would be better to have its advantage over a boat be that it can carry more. It would be cool if you could place block on it.
