Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sign used to name a building

I think a useful item would be a sign that could be used to name a building and to find it. The building could be located on a locator map and maybe also compasses would point toward it. Possibly since this would be extremely useful and valuable it could be a difficult thing to craft maybe iron and a compass?

    Also, lodestones can be linked to compasses to point to the lodestone, which can be placed anywhere.
