    Having more details of the mobs better helps with a concept, more than just one feature. People want to know the full extent.

    So like a custom creation? That would be very hard to pull off with such a huge community, especially since features would be limited to the choices given

    Then they would need to try and come up with some random mob based on non-descriptive votes from the community, which would make them even less fleshed out. The community needs to know what they're actually voting for, otherwise it'll just make even more people mad. What we need is less obscurity, not more. Because usually what players get disappointed in with the final winning mobs is that they weren't quite what they were hoping or expecting to get.

    It's not like they come up with these mobs exclusively for the mob votes... most of their design process involves a ton of brainstorming about things they could add to the game. The mob votes consist of the mob concepts they think up when planning the next updates and features to add (like the Allay, for example, was originally planned for the Nether Update back in 1.16, but didn't make the final cut).
