Desert Weather and Thunder Storms

When the Thunderstorm rolls around into the desert, well... It's just not special. When there's thunder weather and you're in a desert biome it should or at least have a chance to start a sandstorm. Whether it's a dark yellowish blinding effect it would be an interesting situation to be in.
Just imagine going to maybe fetch some sand for your build project or perhaps some cacti for colouring and then suddenly a sandstorm appears! Maybe it even becomes so dark under all of the sand that husks spawn.
