Chicken egg mod

I have a mod idea and it has to do with chickens. When chickens lay eggs, they can lay them on the ground like a turtle egg.

And overtime a baby chicken will hatch like the tadpoles or turtles. And simply breaking the egg will give it to you in your hotbar. That is my idea for a mod. I hope you like my idea :)
