It should be easier to find diamonds in the caves and cliffs update

Wasn’t it supposed to be easier find diamonds in the caves and cliffs update. But now it is harder to find diamonds for a lot of people well at least it is on bedrock I don’t know about Java. But it’s probably the same problem. It is harder to find diamonds now and if you would find one it would be only a 1 or 2 vain. Also it’s harder to mine for them because deepslate is a lot harder to break than stone. And if there is not a solution to the problem at least make it so that you can go to previous versions of the game on bedrock so you can to when the game was better and easier to mine everything. Bye.

    Aren't diamonds supposed to be rare?

    Instead of diamonds being more common, what if they just got rid of the reduced air exposure rule that makes diamonds less common in caves. Plus, you can strip mine with 9 blocks in between your tunnels, and if my calculations are correct, you can get up to 80 diamonds per hour.
