Wood Tools Variants

Isn't it weird how when you get oak wood, the tools are the same texture as oak. But, when I use birch, acacia, spruce, dark oak, jungle, mangrove, warped and crimson wood, the textures are all oak. I think Mojang should add color variants or maybe if made from nether wood, it's fire-resistant like the hyphae versions. Plus, in mushroom biomes there's no wood. Maybe add mushroom tools?? They should mine like wood tools and have the durability of gold tools.
