Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Enchanted Bookshelves

Crafted with enchanted books and any type of planks

Looks

  • Cool purple, blue, green and other glowing textures of the books on shelves
  • Comes in different plank types for variety

Purpose

  • Gives twice the power to enchantment tables (15 bookshelves for 30 level enchantments)
  • Way to get rid of unwanted enchantment books
  • Able to "store" enchanted books (storage item for books)
  • Breaking them (without silk touch) gives player a randomized enchantment book
  • Cool building item

Where to find them

  • Witch huts
  • Woodland Mansions
  • Strongholds

I think the ability to craft bookshelves out of random enchanted books could create a cool, mystical look to builds, as well as be practical to use. What do you guys think?

    I posted something kind of similar to this. But just a usable bookshelf in general that only stores books, enchanted or regular. And shows it filling up
