The Floatus would be an End plant with balloon-like pods. These pods would act like coconuts; but instead of floating on water, they'd float through the air to spread seeds. These flowers would grow pods inside, and could be activated by using them or powering them with redstone, releasing 1-3 pods. These pods could either be right-clicked to pick them up, or popped by attacking them, which would drop seeds. Maybe they'd automatically pop after a minute or so in this state, to prevent lag. These pods could be used for two things.
First up is balloons. These would be crafted with one string and one floatus pod, and could be dyed to any color. Crafting another item alongside a balloon would allow you to put an item inside, which would be dropped when the balloon was popped. They can be tied to fences, and maybe these could do something with mobs.
The second use for these pods is the boots, crafted from two pods and two leads. These boots (more like balloons tied to the feet) would essentially flip the player's gravity, allowing them to walk on ceilings. However, they'd be exceptionally fragile, popping after only a few hits. Taking too long of a fall or stepping on pointed dripstone would instantly pop them, and they'd also pop after reaching too high of a height (or maybe after rising too high). These would allow ceilings to be built much more easily (scaffolding's okay, but still annoying), and could allow for usable biomes to be placed on the underside of End islands.
