Gulper block | Living item mover

The gulper block would be found in nether chests and would look like a fleshy, blue-purple color. Its distinctive features would be a single eye on two oposite sides and a weird moving bulge on top almost resembling a pumping artery or a gulping throat. The eye would look in the direction of the pumping bulge and any items or entities on top would move in said direction. The gulps would move in pulses but these pulses are strong and almost impossible to move against without jumping. Gulpers act as a trade off for water streams since it would be less messy and safer for mobs who are affected by water but do not offer the flexibility of flowing water. Gulpers could make redstone item intersections, make a safer blaze farm with no lava, or just be a scary eye decoration in your base. I think making this block alive gives it a minecraft feel and some personality.
