Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Create usable bookshelves

Adding a usable bookshelf that can only store paper, books, and enchanted books could be a great way to keep keeps organized and make your builds looks better instead of just using chests. Combining a chest and a bookshelf could be a good way to make it. Perhaps showing it filling up would also be a great visual update, kind of like how bee hives start dripping honey when they reach level 5.

    Bookshelves should automatically be storage, logically. Visuals might work like empty or sparse if nothing is in them, or full if any item is in them (not sure how levelled visuals would work).

    Idea: if theres more than two enchantment books in it, it would turn in to a darker variant, with purple books in it, that would be better for enchanting than normal bookshelves.
