I for one would love to see new fauna added to the game, and while I see mojang seems to be adding maybe new fungi for the bitch forest biomes, I believe that the forests are missing Clovers. Clovers can often be found in forests especially in the northern United States where both Clovers themselves as well as Birch forests can be found.
I believe it could really add to the bio diversity of the game, not only being a pretty block that can add depth to the builds of creative players but also have a survival implementation.
I think a patch of clover (which could be like a podzol block in concept), should drop individual clovers. These clovers which can then be crafted again into a clover patch block. (Or harvested with a silk touch pick) but each patch has a certain rare percentage of dropping a 4 leafed clover.
As I’m sure you probably know where I’m going with this, these clovers can then be used in brewing for the unused “luck” potion, increasing the chance of certain RNG based events,
-apples dropping,
-Piglin Trades,
-Trident Drops,
-Better/higher enchantment tiers,
-The chance of rare mobs showing up,
-etc.
I really hope my idea can be implemented in some way, I’d love to have a hand in creating something in this game I’ve been playing for over a decade
