Bats in the night sky

Bats should spawn in the sky at night. Bats do not exclusively live in caves. They can be found in forests, houses, jungles, and deserts. 

As a start bats can spawn in these locations. Later, bat variants like, the Desert Bat, Flying Fox, and Vampire bats can be added to diversify these important species.

For now, bats should spawn at night like phantoms, and fly around as bats do. In the daytime, they can seek shelter where ever possible. Houses, Trees, and lips in terrain.

Bats have no purpose, but provide a feeling of life in a cave, and that's alright for now. But the bats should definitely be given a use in the future.

    Great idea! I'd rather the "desert bat" be replaced with a fruit bat though, and have it eat prickly pear fruit

    It can also double as a special Halloween event like hostile mobs wearing Jack O' Lanterns on October 31.
