update rain

what i mean by this is making rain interact with more stuff for example if you used a splash potion on coarse dirt it makes mud but why doesnt rain? another example is campfires. splash potions and water puts them out but not rain another thing it could do is if rain interacts with mud / sand it would create quicksand / sinking mud it would be the same as powdered snow but without the freezing part

    Great idea! They should also make drip leafs fall when hit by rain. I think dirt and corse dirt blocks turning to mud would be frustrating for builds though

    I personally don't want rain turning my entire lawn into mud. Although I assume you mean dirt blocks, and not grass blocks.

    That would make more blocks to constantly update during the event, and messing up the state of dirt blocks. Weather should not grief anything in a world. but they can have minor impacts. To take from this, at least campfires being put out could be considerable.

    I like this idea but if this does get added I hope it doesn’t happen to often but still can happen.
