Remove Persians from Minecraft

Persian cats have various health conditions associated with breathing issues from their strange head shape.

As one study points out: "Among the breeds worst affected by health problems are Persian cats – one of the most popular types in the UK – which have been bred to have a flat face, causing them breathing difficulties and bulging eyes, which weep and need to be frequently wiped by their owners." which also states “Cats bred with certain physical characteristics, such as flat faces and small legs, are at increased risk of getting cancer” The same issue can also be seen with pugs and their flat faces as a breed, for reference.

Many different breeds of cats come in a cream color, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to replace them in Minecraft. It could even prove to be positive as it will bring more awareness to breed defective traits, and depending on the changed look of the cat, to something like a Norwegian forest cat, for example, players may seek out the cream fuzzball even more.
