Major feature:
Update soundpack near flowing water. Make sounds more realistic based on the movement of the water. Depending on size of a waterfall increase or decrease loudness relative to distance, including masking other mob noises.
Add several river fish, i.e. bass, bluegill or the like.
Add stream related plants, i.e. cat tails.
Create new soft stone: pebble rock. Pebble rock has the characteristic of gravel, but allows water to flow through it. Decreases the flow of water by two. This rock type would be found along shallow rivers and streams. Players could rock hop across these bodies of water.
