Bedrock and Java "Vanilla Cape"

Many have noticed the so called "Vanilla Cape" popping up everywhere. This cape would be given to you if you bought the bedrock and java edition of Minecraft before the merge. How ever, only if you bought it on pc. This makes no sense since the bedrock version and the java was made for console and pc separetly.

Most of us didn't afford a computer when we started playing minecraft. My brother and I had an Xbox 360 with Minecraft and later a ps4 with the bedrock version before we got the java edition on our pc. Why would we buy bedrock again on our pc if we already had it on our ps4. The bedrock version was originaly for all consoles not pc. It's not fair to have 3 separet versions and later be told that we needed them on our pc instead. The solution is simple! Add some form of conformation number that we can add to our java profile to get the cape.

Please consider it Mojang.

    Java can only be purchased on pc, so yes it makes sense that it would only be for people who have both on pc.
