Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Tree Sap/Syrup

I saw a lot of similar ones, but nothing like how I imagined:

I thought it'd be cool for there to be taps to collect sap to make syrup, they could be made out of copper and placed on a tree-- they would take a few minutes before they start dripping and you could collect with a bottle.

However, I thought it'd be cool if there was also trees that naturally spawned with a hole in one of the logs that, like the budding amethyst block, would have sap coming out of it occasionally that could be collected with a bottle

I was thinking this could be used to craft amber blocks, create syrup (putting sap in a furnace-- that sounds goofy but I read you boil tree sap to make syrup), craft pancakes (3 bread + 3 syrup on a crafting table?), feed them to bees to make them work faster and attract bees while holding it--
