Strengthening the armor

My idea is to allow you to combine chain mail with all types of armor. In real life, a combined chain mail with iron armor to increase protection. This idea will work well in minecraft, as the player will be able to improve his armor even more, thereby increasing the passage time, but making the battles safer. Chain mail still needs to be knocked out from mobs, found or bought from a resident, but it does not wake up to double the armor, and in total it will give a nice bonus, namely, for example, 7 units of protection. An ordinary player may not need it, but someone who wants maximum protection needs to work hard to find the whole set, and it does not wake up dust in chests. You can combine armor on a blacksmith's table, and it wakes up at the edges of the armor, like the same chain mail. I offer you the opportunity to improve minecraft without adding new things, but to improve existing ones. Thanks for your attention!

I think this could get overpowered very quickly, but chainmail does need a use of some sort. Maybe combining with chainmail would increase the armour's durability.

I love the idea but wouldn't it make it too over powered? The Huns used this technique to terrorize the romans.... I think it should remain as it is
