As game adds more items and blocks, item management becomes larger challenge. This proposal will attempt partially to solve above by reusing the existing game features.
STEP1: Unlocking/Controlling Capacity
For each player, enderchest will provide 16 potential additional normal 27 item slot. To access, player will have to place colored glass block in front of the enderchest to, each time the chest is open, color channel state is checked. A signal will see how many different color glass blocs are there. The signal would function similarly to red stone signal and will use transparent glass as the path and repeater. Tinted glass will be required to send back the signal to the issuing chest to confirm the color channel state. The state will keep register highest open color channel number. Placing tinted one directly infront and open ender chest will reset the state to 0/16.
STEP2: Accessing Improved
Player will have "inventory vinsionnary" passive effect each time the one opens the ender chest. The effect will give access to all color channel of ender inventory of last channel state check. Example, when player open e-key inventory, you would see a additional inventory as if you open any chest with additional key to change the color channel. For traditional 27, it will remain accessible only from the direct opening of the enderchest. Upon drinking of milk and respawning, the passive effect will be lost. Consuming chorus fruit will also provide the effect but shorter 1h.
