Currently now lightning is kind of pathetic in damage. It should probably be the equivalent or a little bit less of a Warden's punch.
Yes it would be very stupid to die to random lightning strike.
Yes it would make Lightning rods and Channeling Tridents OP, but the lightning from those can be 50% to 75% or to how it is originally now.
The point is that lightning doesn't do all that much damage for be lightning.
