Magma flats and Ash trees

The magma flats is a biome in the Overworld that typically has alot of magma and lava. Lakes and hills filled with lava (volcano, lava pools). Sometimes it will have trees (depending on the location all variants). These trees are so burnt you can't even normally pick it up. You'll need Silk Touch. 

  • Water evaporates instantly in this biome.
  • No mobs can spawn in this biome, excluding some hostile ones.

Ash trees don't have any leaves. They have similar colours, texture to basalt.

Another way of getting Ashed wood is by putting regular logs into a smoker.

    Of course, traveling to this biome and braving its perils must bring a reward of some sort. Perhaps ash blocks, which can be used to make cinder blocks, soap, and ash golems.
