Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Paraglider from phantom membranes

How about allowing phantom membranes+sticks+spider string to create a paraglider. One could jump from a high place and glide across a biome.

    That would practically replace needing to go through accessing the end dimension for elytra. There cannot be a similar feature.

    The phantom paraglide / Phantom Wings is crafted from 6 phantom membranes with a column of 2 and rows of 3!

    The paraglide would be dyeable like leather and can be worn in the area of a chestplate. Unlike the elytra, if you try to use a rocket on a paraglide it will cause damage since the rocket’s flame would hurt the delicate membrane, so you can only use it to glide, so it’s still useful but not nearly as powerful as elytras.

    If you jump from the block limit and glide with it you’ll get the achievement “Not Quite Icarus”
