Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

They said they wouldn't add "paint" or a way to colour woods, so that's unlikely and quite possibly applicable to leaves and other plants. What would be good is if they add more coloured variations of such that can be naturally found in the world. But in the meantime, any of these features do exist in mods/texture packs/etc.

I think Minecraft's variety of dyeable items is a bit over the top already. Maybe a new type of tree with pink leaves and green wood would be cool though. Hopefully in the inevitable 1.20 End Update...

Stained wood should only be craftable from a stripped log or wood of any tree variety (not from Nether fungus). Eight stripped logs/wood surrounding a dye would yield eight "Stripped DYE COLOR Log" or "Stripped DYE COLOR Wood". Texture would be dyed Oak, regardless of wood variant used, e.g., stained doors and trapdoors would match Oak Doors and Oak Trapdoors in style. All subsequent crafting with the stained logs would replace the word "Oak" with the name of the dye color, e.g., "Magenta Slab". Items such as sticks, ladders, chests, etc., that have no wood specification, would be craftable but would not be stained.
