Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

a workbench like the stonecutter but for wood!

I'm suggesting a workbench like the stonecutter but for wood, so that you don't have to use 6 planks for stairs and 3 for slabs, also could be an easier way to make fences, trapdoors and other decoration blocks made from wood :)

    For the sake of consistency, the stonecutter really needs a woodcutter/sawmill variant.

    yes! i've been thinking this for a while, like a table saw block. maybe it could introduce a new villager job too? carpenter?
