Minecraft dungeons: Content idea: Guildsmith
Guildsmith. Blacksmith lets us upgrade our power levels to max. Enchantmsith would potentially let us reroll enchants to possibly make what we want (with a MASSIVE sum of gold), so the guildsmith would fill that last niche for weapon continuity and alternative grind.
The guildsmith can guild any weapon for a very large sum of gold depending on rarity and weapon level. he can assign a weapon the Guilded status with a random enchant level 1-3. Now say you get a bad roll. For a fee of emeralds, he can remove the guilded status and guild enchant. This will allow you to take an alternative path to grinding.
You may go "that's op, that removes the need to grind" No it doesn't. Enchant and my guildsmith make you play the game more. You need gold to use them. You have to do ancient hunts. You have to farm emeralds. You need base weapons to reroll enchants/deguild (Smelt), you still have to farm. What these two merchants in combo with the blacksmith do is allow players who don't want to farm the same soggy cave/ancient over and over for a god roll, to take an alternative path to get a god roll. You need to invest more resources than just running ancients/the tower. This incentivizes using all the modes and aspects of Minecraft dungeons, and actually adds an endgame loop you can see your progress step by step. Want to try a new build? blacksmith to level it. Enchant smith to get the enchants you want, then guild smith until you get the ideal perfection you want.
